The Indiana
law firm of Barrett McNagny LLP is pleased to announce that Robert W. Kistler has joined the firm. Mr. Kistler will concentrate his practice in the area of employee benefits and ERISA compliance. He works with employers, plan administrators, and service providers on plan design and administration, fiduciary responsibilities, plan compliance, and plan corrections.
Mr. Kistler is a member of the Allen County, Indiana, and American Bar Associations. He is a 2014 graduate of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Development Academy (LDA) and has served as a member of the LDA committee since 2015. From 2012-2014, Mr. Kistler chaired the Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee of the Indiana State Bar Association. He is active in Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana, an organization that sends veterans to Washington D.C. to visit memorials honoring their service and sacrifice, and he helped create the Indiana Lawyers for Soldiers program. In 2014, Mr. Kistler received the Pro Bono Publico Award from the Indiana Bar Foundation and the Indiana Pro Bono Commission for his work assisting veterans.
